Basic Sperm Wash
This techniques used dilution and centrifugation. A sperm wash solution containing antibiotics and protein supplement is added to the ejaculate. After repeated centrifugation, the seminal fluid id eliminated from the sample and sperm cells are concentrated for insemination. The procedure takes 20 to 40 minute
Premium wash
This method used density gradient centrifugation to isolate the one one prig the mobile sperm in ordar to obtain a sperm sample with the mobility at least 90%of bending upon the initial quantity of sample different concentration of isolate extremely dense five are layer in a test tube in an assending ordar of density having layer of the bottom when a semen sample is placed upon the wroer most isolate layer and centrifuged any debris required cell non motile and poor motile sperm remain in the top layer only mobile sperm are able to get through the bottom layer and are then concentrated for use in artificial insemination. This procedure take one hour. The premium wash technique is excellent for fresh or frozen sperm and can help asses male factor fertility
